The Apple iPad UK launch went well although good news is that not all locations have sold out of stock yet. On Saturday, PC World and Currys had a number of locations with 10+ iPads in stock and the situation is similar today although a few more stores are now out of stock when comparing what we saw Saturday morning.
PC World and Currys don’t specify which models they have available, but we suspect the iPad Wi-Fi+3G 16GB model will be a difficult model to get as this was commonly out of stock at several Apple stores that were called over the weekend.

The Apple iPad has now launched in the UK and several other international locations. The device went on sale this morning in Apple stores in the UK at 8am. Currys and PC World also have stocks in some areas for the iPad.
The Apple iPad started showing up a day early here in the UK and many other international locations from what we hear. You might have thought this was good news though, but according to sources this has caused a lot of upset customers who booked tomorrow off and missed today’s deliveries.
SNES (HD) is a Super Nintendo emulator based around the Snes9x emulator. It is also based on the snes4iPhone iPhone port, but has all been rewritten to fit on the iPad.
The WIRED Magazine Apple iPad app is now available in the iTunes store.

For those who didn’t pre-order and are going to be queuing up, Apple [AAPL] has decided to help out a little by letting you queue an hour less. Today, the company announced that Apple stores will be opening an hour earlier at 8am rather than 9am.
Update: iBooks has been removed from the UK store. Perhaps they are rewording the text that says it’s US only. We suspect it will back today or tomorrow.
The Sky Mobile TV app has been updated to now work with the yet to arrive Apple iPad in the UK. On Friday when the iPad launches, users will be able to stream Sky news and sports content to their iPad over the internet connection (WiFi and possibly 3G).
