Vodafone UK have updated their website to include the Google Nexus One availability. The phone is up for pre-order at the moment for an April 30 launch although deliveries are not shipping till May 5.
The Google [GOOG] phone has been available in the US for a while now. It runs a 1GHz Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm, has a 3.7 inch touchscreen and a number of features that make it one of the flagship Android devices available.
Regarding prices, they are quite good for us in the UK where you can actually pre-order on the Vodafone website rather than through google.com/phone. Google [GOOG] has unveiled YouTube Movie rentals in what seems like a quiet way. Various movies and TV episodes are available to rent for 48 hours at a cost of 99 cents to $4. The Youtube Store can be found at youtube.com/store (although in the UK that URL redirects to a user called Store which indicates this is US only at the moment).
Wired have reported that 26 percent of their mobile traffic comes from Apple iPad users. The numbers used on the chart were recorded from April 3 to April 19 and are broken down to iPhone/iPad, iPad and others.
