Fusion Garage Only Sold 64 JooJoo Tablets?

It appears that Fusion Garage might have only sold 64 JooJoo tablets since launch. This information, although not highly accurate, comes from a mistake where Fusion Garage emailed 64 clients asking them for feedback. The problem was that they CC’d rather than BCC’d clients allowing all 64 customers to all see each others email.

So we have a couple of problems here… first off a privacy mistake allowing customer email addresses out, and secondly… just 64 email addresses? I know this isn’t rock solid evidence that this is their entire sales list but it’s looking like it could be the case.

Here is the email below…

Dear Sir and Madam,
Thank you for supporting JooJoo.
We hope to get your feedback about the JooJoo Tablet.
Please revert back to us want you think of our product.
Please drop us a line on how your JooJoo is working.

Thank you.

No doubt Fusion Garage will chime in if there is a mistake here and we hope there is. If it does end up being true, I wonder how many JooJoo devices would have been sold if it were still the CrunchPad with the TechCrunch guys still involved.

  1. Hello, I’m with the Fusion Garage PR team, and I wanted to provide information about this post. The e-mail in question was sent by a temporary customer support employee to a select group of customers. These customers were selected for participation in an ongoing feedback program because they had previously contacted Fusion Garage with questions or suggestions. This list in no way reflects Fusion Garage’s entire customer base. Sales have continued to grow after the public release of the joojoo. We have taken the appropriate internal measures to ensure this type of situation does not happen again. Thanks, Rory
