Creative has unveiled the Creative ZIIO. The ZIIO comes in two sizes with one having a 7 inch screen and the other having a 10 inch screen.
The 7 inch model is white and uses a resistive touchscreen. The resolution is 480 x 800 pixels. The 10 inch version has a higher resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels.
Inside the 7 inch model a ZiiLabs ZMS-08 CPI can be found. This particular set of tablets run Android 2.1. [Read more…]
ViewSonic has released details of the US launch of the ViewPad 7 and 10 models. ViewSonic confirmed that the 7 inch model will launch in the forth quarter of this year with a price tag of $479 while the larger 10 inch model will arrive early next year with a price tag of $629.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab will be launching in the US in a few weeks on November 10th.
ASUS has revealed a bit more information about its plans to launch tablets. The ASUS was reported to be buying Tegra 2 chips a few days ago and has now confirmed that several tablets will be arriving starting in December of this year.
HTC has announced that the HTC Wildfire will be launching in the US on multiple North American carriers. The launch will be held sometime in the forth quarter of this year… which is any time from now.

The JooJoo launched a few months ago in the first quarter of this year. Sales haven’t been as good as Fusion Garage expected although in Europe and Asia it is supposedly doing quite well.
