HTC has announced that the HTC Wildfire will be launching in the US on multiple North American carriers. The launch will be held sometime in the forth quarter of this year… which is any time from now.
The device its self has a 3.2 inch QVGA touchscreen and is classed as a mid-range Android smartphone. It has a 528MHz processor, 512MB of ROM and 384MB of RAM.
On the back of the Wildfire is a 5 megapixel camera. For connectivity it has Wireless 802.11b/g. It runs the Android 2.1 operating system.
Although we know the release date (well, time period), we do not have any details on pricing just yet. We expect that closer to launch time the carriers will start to announced pricing and pre-ordering details.
