Adobe Flash 10.1 to Land on Windows Phone 7 Devices

Right now there is no word on Adobe Air 2.5 landing on Windows Phone 7 devices. However, we have heard that Adobe Flash 10.1 will be landing on Windows Phone 7 on all future versions of the phone. The information comes from this section of text found in the Adobe Air 2.5 press release that went out earlier today.

With Flash Player 10.1 available on Android and Google TV today, BlackBerry platform, webOS, future versions of Windows® Phone, LiMo, MeeGo,and Symbian OS are also expected to support Flash Player 10.1

Notion Ink Adam Tablet to Have 15 to 20 Hour Battery

The Notion Ink Adam Android tablet has yet to arrive, but the founder of the company says that when it does launch, the battery will be capable of powering the tablet for 15 – 20 hours on a single charge.

Adobe Air 2.5 for Phones, TVs and Tablets Announced

Adobe has announced the launch of Adobe Air 2.5. Air 2.5 is software that allows flash-based applications to run on Android, RIM and Samsung smart TVs.

New Nook Color Render Spotted

Barnes & Noble will be announcing something tomorrow (Tuesday 26th October). Rumors and a few tips are showing that the company could be announced a new Nook Color. Some leaked/rumored information says that this particular device will have a price tag of $249 and will be a touch screen device although the technology behind the screen is unknown at the moment… meaning will it be OLED, LCD or something else.

HTC Knight Could Land on Sprint

The HTC Knight is an Android based smartphone that could be landing soon on the Sprint [S] network in the US.

Not much is known about the Knight at the moment although the details that have been found indicated that it has a sliding screen. This indicates a full QWERTY keyboard can be found on the device. This information comes from some text found in an XML file which says the following…

Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi Version Landing At Best Buy

Best Buy will be selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab when it launches in the US next month. As well as selling the regular WiFi + 3G version of the Tablet, Best Buy will also offer a cheaper WiFi only version.

The Galaxy Tab WiFi version has the same 7 inch screen as the 3G version. It also runs Android 2.2 and is essentially the same device other than the lack of the 3G connectivity. [Read more…]

Samsung Galaxy Tab Release Date – November 11 on Verizon

Verizon [VZ] has announced today that the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be landing on its network on November 11. The price will be $600.

No dataplan will be required when you purchase it although if you want a dataplan you can opt to pay $20/month for 1GB of data. The dataplan is a month to month plan that allows you to cancel it at any time in 30 day increments. [Read more…]

The T-Mobile myTouch HD is coming soon. No official details have been announced yet although we find today that a promotional video of the device has leaked online (embedded below).

Samsung Galaxy Tab up for Pre-Order in UK

Carphone warehouse in the UK has made the Samsung Galaxy Tab available for pre-order. The Galaxy Tab release date it November 1st and price wise, the tablet will cost you either £529.99 stand alone or £499.99/ on a 30 day rolling contract costing £10/month.

The standalone price tag of £529.99 actually matches the same sized 16GB iPad with WiFi and 3G making it an attractive offer. The device its self runs Android 2.2, has a 7 inch WVGA super AMOLED screen and is capable of playing flash 10.1 content. [Read more…]

Dell Venue Pro Windows Phone 7 Announced

Just a couple of days ago, Microsoft [MSFT] officially launched Windows Phone 7. The new operating system was also listed along side 9 smartphones that would be launching in various parts of the world.

The Dell Venue Pro is one of those devices. It features a slide down QWERTY keyboard. This particular phone was originally spotted as the Dell Lightning, but for various reasons, switched to being called the Venue Pro at launch.

The Venue Pro has a large 4.1 inch AMOLED display. On the back a 5 megapixel camera can be found. Inside, it runs a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. [Read more…]

Sony Google TV Now Official

Sony has officially announced the new range of Sony TVs, powered by Google TV.

As expected, the new TVs come in several sizes which starts off with a 24 inch called the NSX-24GT1 priced at $599.99.

Next up is the 32 inch model called the NSX-32GT1 priced at $799.99 and then the 40 inch model NSX-40GT1 priced at $999.99 and finally on to the largest 46 inch model called the NSX-46GT1 priced at $1399.99. [Read more…]

HTC Desire HD Orders at T-Mobile UK Now Available

T-Mobile in the UK is now accepting orders for the HTC Desire HD over here in the UK.

The device is available for free on some of the higher end contracts of £40/month and above. For those wanting a more mid-range contract of about £25 – £30/month you can expect to pay between £90 and £200 for the device depending on how many minutes you choose and the length of the contract (ie, 18 or 24 months).
