If you plan on making a case for an Apple [AAPL] product such as an iPhone 4 or iPad for example, Apple has a page on it’s site that allows you to grab all the technical details you need to create the case. The CAD style drawings are available, but to be honest look a little bland as they are just line drawings with measurements and a few hints and tips added on such as “do not block the camera”.

Core77 decided to spruce the images a little by merging actual pictures of the iPhone 4 with the CAD details and came up with the image just above. A section of the original drawing can be found below with all the drawings for many Apple products available over here. [Read more…]

ShutterSnitch Lets Eye-Fi Sent Pics to iPad

ShutterSnitch is an app built for the iPhone and iPad that lets Eye-Fi wireless SD cards communicate and drop photos on to it.

The app saves you buying an iPad camera kit although the downside is that Eye-Fi cannot communicate with the iPad or iPhone direct. Instead, you need to have a router or MiFi type device installed so that an infrastructure wireless connection can be created from the iPad to router and from the Eye-Fi to the same router allowing both devices to then talk.

To get the whole system working you need an iPad, Camera, Eye-Fi card and a Router, most of which those who want to do this will already have. [Read more…]

We have also seen some sample handsets from the likes of Samsung and LG amongst a few others. What we haven’t seen, until now, is a list of official manufacturers who will be creating the hardware to run Windows Phone 7.

The list includes HTC, LG and Samsung as we expected. Dell and ASUS will also be building hardware. [Read more…]
