Apple [AAPL] could be launching a new iPod touch 4 in the next month or so. The reason for this belief is that a photo illustration of an iPod touch 4 in a case has been revealed that indicates a new version with a camera is coming.
What happens here is that Apple send out technical specs (as in CAD details) to those companies who will be making cases. The drawings don’t show the device in details other than sizes of each part. With this information it appears that a company has created a mockup of what a case and iPod touch within that case will look like.
It’s hard to make out exactly what’s happening in the render, but it appears that “if” the iPod represents a new device then it will keep the curved back rather than a glass back of the iPhone 4. ASUS is launching the ASUS Eee PC 1016p netbook soon. The new netbook falls in to the 1000 range of netbooks and therefore has a 10 inch screen.
Viewsonic could be joining the tablet race by releasing it’s own Android 2.2 OS based tablet. Stuff.tv reports that the tablet will have a seven inch screen and run Froyo.
Some rumours going around today indicated that Motorola is launching a 10 inch tablet soon. The tablet will use Android for the operating system and have a 10 inch screen.
Motorola is launching the Motorola Glam this month in South Korea. The new phone runs Android 2.1 and has a 3.7 inch screen that uses capacitive touch and is multitouch. It has a decent resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.
