HTC Pyramid Rumor – Dual Core Superphone Coming to T-Mobile

Details of a new phone from HTC have leaked. This new device is codenamed the HTC Pyramid and is expected to run a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The processor is from Qualcomm and is the MSM8260. We also hear that the device will have a 4.3 inch qHD display.

The device is expected to be compatible on HSPA+ networks and will be launched on the T-Mobile network in May 2011. [Read more…]

T-Mobile G-Slate with 8.9 Inch Screen and Tegra 2 Unveiled

T-Mobile has announced the LG G-Slate. This particular tablet has an 8.9 inch screen and runs an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. The operating system that will run on the G-Slate is Android 3.0.

The 8.9 inch screen has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels allowing users to watch 720p HD video. A unique feature of this particular tablet is that it has a couple of cameras on the back capable of capturing 3D pictures. [Read more…]

Samsung Galaxy S 4G Announced by T-Mobile

T-Mobile has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy S 4G smartphone. Many people already knew that this particular smartphone was coming to T-Mobile, but now it has been officially confirmed.

The Galaxy S 4G is capable of connecting up to T-Mobiles 4G network which they say has a theoretical peak download speed of up to 21Mbps.

Android 2.2 is installed on this particular smartphone and it comes with a 1GHz processor, a 4 inch Super AMOLED screen and 16GB of internal memory.

HTC Inspire 4G Arriving on AT&T February 13

AT&T has announced that it will be shipping the HTC Inspire 4G in February 13.

The Inspire 4G will run Android 2.2 when it launches and will be an HSPA+ device that will run at almost 4G speeds when connected up to the AT&T network.

Other features include the AT&T mobile hotspot service allowing users to share bandwidth over a small network. [Read more…]

Samsung Galaxy S 2 Shows Up in Promo Video

Samsung has released a video that teases the Samsung Galaxy S 2. In the embedded video below, Samsung refer to the device as the Next Galaxy S and seem to show a rendering of what looks to be a very slim device.

What we expect from the Galaxy S 2 is that it’ll run the Android 2.3 operating system as well as have a faster processor. The original Galaxy S was a fantastic device and despite a few GPS issues, it was a good device. Google Nexus S Reboot Issue To Be Soon Fixed by OTA Update

Those of you who own a Google Nexus S that has random reboot problems, Google has provided an update saying that a fix will be available in the next two weeks.

Google will push out an OTA (over the air) update to Nexus S devices as explained by Ry Guy on a Google Mobile Help Thread.

Kindle for Windows Phone 7 Download Now Available

Amazon has launched Kindle for Windows Phone 7. The download is now available from the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace.

Just like other versions such as the iPhone, Android and iPad variants, the Windows Phone 7 version allows you to download your already purchased eBooks. The app uses the same Whispersync technology so that you can read on the Windows Phone 7 device and then switch to another device and carry on reading from where you left off. [Read more…]

Kindle eBooks Outsell Paperback Books

It appears that Amazon has managed to do what many thought would take a lot longer. The company announced on its quarterly call that since the beginning of the year for every 100 paperback books sold at Amazon, there have been 115 Kindle eBooks sold.

Last year, hard cover books were also kicked out by the Kindle in that for every 100 of them sold, Amazon was shifting 143 which is an even more impressive ratio. We now hear that this figure is about 300 to 100 in favor of the Kindle ebook. [Read more…]

Two Million Galaxy Tab Units Sold in Three Months

Samsung has indicated that it has sold two million Samsung Galaxy Tab Android tablets since its launch about three months ago. The device went on sale in October of 2010.
