T-Mobile has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy S 4G smartphone. Many people already knew that this particular smartphone was coming to T-Mobile, but now it has been officially confirmed.
The Galaxy S 4G is capable of connecting up to T-Mobiles 4G network which they say has a theoretical peak download speed of up to 21Mbps.
Android 2.2 is installed on this particular smartphone and it comes with a 1GHz processor, a 4 inch Super AMOLED screen and 16GB of internal memory.
This particular model has two cameras with the one on the back capable of capturing 5 megapixel images while the one on the front is for video calls and has a lower resolution (perhaps VGA although not confirmed).
T-Mobile will be launching the Galaxy S 4G on its network sometime in February. Pricing and the exact date is not known at the moment.
