There’s more reports/rumours going around about Apple [AAPL] and their iSlate or Tablet device saying that both AT&T and Verizon could be making it available on their networks. Up till now there hasn’t been much, if any, solid evidence that the device will exist but bits of information have been pieced together making it quite likely that the device will be unveiled next week at an
WSJ have created a list of what can be expected in the Apple iSlate or iTablet or whatever it will be called. The tablet will come with the ability to be shared with several members of a household and could possibly use facial recognition to adjust settings according to individual needs. If it is cloud based then each user will get their own files when logging in.
Details of the new iPhone 4.0 OS were leaked to BGR recently with a few details of what we could be seeing as soon as next week. New features could include multi-touch gestures OS-wide which adds to the rumour of the iTablet or iSlate using the same OS when launched.
Apple introduced a couple of iMac’s last year that had screens measuring 21.5 inches and 27 inches. Digitimes are now reporting that Apple [AAPL] are to introduce a 22 inch model that will function as an “all-in-one” type device complete with a multi-touch screen.
The Tiffen Company have launched a new Steadicam device called the Steadicam Smoothee that is designed to work with the iPhone 3G S. The Smoothee is a miniature version of the full sized steadicam mounts used in movies to prevent handheld cameras from moving around too fast while filming.
We are still no closer to really understanding if an Apple iSlate or Tablet will be launched by Apple [AAPL], but with an announcement coming up on January 27 the rumours still keep coming. Well, the rumours just keep on coming now for the next gen iPhone that is more than likely to be announced June. However, we thought we’d mention this one as reports/rumours are now saying the Apple [AAPL] phone is due out in April this year along with having a nice OLED screen, a dual-core CPU and the ability to do video calls.
