Portable Photo Studio

portable_photo_studioThe Portable Photo Studio allows you to capture more professional looking pictures that will be sharper and lit correctly. The photo studio measures 16 inches cubed and is lit externally by a couple of spot lights. The light-box allows you to place products inside and photograph them with correct lighting.

Pros use lightboxes to give their product shots a nice white background, diffusing lighting and reducing the harsh shadows that make your product shots amateurish and cheap. We’ve also included two super-bright halogen lights to further light the scene.

3dtv3D is becoming a big thing since a plethora of 3D screens and graphics cards were revealed over the last year. When ever people think of 3D they think of the red and blue cardboard specs that you had to wear when watching Jaws 3D back in the 80’s. These more modern days we now see rather cool looking dark glasses which are more acceptable but still a pain if you ask me. Zeo Personal Sleep Coach

Kindle DX Gets Taken Apart

The Kindle DX is an ebook reader built and sold by Amazon. It has a 9.7 inch screen making it larger then the recently released Kindle 2. Other features include auto rotation and a 3G wireless connection which allows you to download eBooks from the Amazon store while on the move. With it having a larger screen it’s easier to read then the original although it is obviously a little larger.

Apple Files the Activity Sensor Patent

apple-patentA few months ago, Apple filed a new patent which was referred to as an Activity Sensor. It’s kind of like an extreme sports version of the Nike+ iPod sport kit that you can currently buy. The Activity Sensor is used to measure factors while skiing, snow boarding or mountain biking which include air time, speed and power/energy absorbed while performing these activities.

The 41 page patent gives full details and explains that when someone claims that they achieved “big air” that right now they can only claim it. The Activity Sensor will actually be able to quantify what they exactly achieved so they can use the personal data to set their own records to try and beat. TomTom for iPhone Coming Soon

tomtom-iphone-appTomTom has always been a brilliant sat nav system which gives detailed 3D or 2D turn by turn navigation. It was recently announced that it will be coming to the iPhone as a new application to launch this summer for the iPhone 3G S. As well as the iPhone getting TomTom, a new mount with charging capabilities will also be made available.
