Amazon have decided to make a complete u-turn on the original decision not to replace cracked Amazon Kindle 2’s. Amazon have now confirmed that replacement’s will happen.
The original stance by Amazon was that they were going to charge $200 to fix the damage as their warranty did not cover cracks. However, after a class-action lawsuit was started (many had this problem) which appears to have convinced Amazon to replace broken items. [Read more…]

Light Blue Optics, based near Cambridge in the UK, have created a new portable projector that uses laser as the light source. Using laser has a number of advantages over LED and bulb based projectors in that it can produce a higher quality images and also the video produced will always be in focus.

The average home in the US/UK is jam packed full of electronics. Just under my TV I have a Playstation, V+ box, External HDD, Vonage router, wireless router, cable modem and cordless phone charger. Behind the TV the wires are just crazy and although I set them up neatly, they somehow manage to tangle.
