Gorilla Glass 2 Gets 20 Percent Thinner

Last week, Corning teased a new glass called Gorilla Glass 2. Other than knowing its a follow on from Gorilla Glass, there wasn’t any other information made available. Corning has now provided the details of what has changed between versions. As it’s glass, the details might be too much of a surprise, but at the same time this will help smartphones become a little sleeker.

Lenovo Launch a 10 Inch Transformable Tablet – IdeaTab S2

Lenovo has launched a new tablet called the Lenovo IdeaTab S2. The device measures just 8.69mm thick and comes with a 10 inch display. The operating system running on the S2 is Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The keyboard is an extra which adds a little thickness to the tablet. In a similar way to the Transformer Prime, the S2 keyboard allows the tablet portion to be docked so it can be used more like a laptop for data entry.

Sony PS4 and a New Microsoft Xbox Coming to E3 2012

We’ve certainly seen a fair share of PS4 concepts and after a few years of waiting we will soon get to see the real thing. The same goes for Xbox 720 concepts (not a real name yet). We’ll also get to see the real next gen Xbox as well. Both will be going on show at E3 this year.

Apple Could Add Thunderbolt in iOS Devices

New patents published in the US hint that iOS devices could be getting a Thunderbolt port. One of the patents says “a connection may be provided between a portable media player and a display, a computer and a portable media player, or between other types of devices.” which has led a number of people to believe that this will include iOS devices.

Tobii has created a new system called Gaze that allows users to look at tiles on Windows 8 to open them. It requires the click of a mouse but has the technology built in to know which tile you are looking at.

Logitech Cube Mouse Doubles as a Wireless Presentation Controller

Logitech is releasing a new mouse called the Logitech Cube. The device looks like a small box and fits in the palm of your hand. What makes it unique is that the top side of it is a touch sensitive panel. When picking up the Cube it jumps in to presentation mode and allows you to control a presentation from the palm of your hand.

Refunds Issued by Apple for GameStore App

Over the new year, Apple accidentally released an app called GameStore that was very unfinished. It was believed to be from 2009 at about the time in-app purchases were made available. Apple [AAPL] shortly after pulled the app from the store. A number of people paid for the app to see what it was.

iPhone Call Mute Issue Upsetting Users

When the iPhone 4S launched a few months ago, a few problems were found such as battery life issues for a number of users as well as what has become known as Audiogate. Audiogate is the issue of outbound calls being muted for some users in some cases.
