iPhone 5 Redesign Might Not Happen

A number of people believe that the iPhone 5 will be different to the iPhone 4 in terms of design. Some suggest that tapered edges (like the iPad 2) will be part of the design. Amazon in the UK has begun listing the Sony PlayStation Vita and has made it available for pre-order. Two versions of the Vita have been made available which includes the WiFi version and the 3G version with the former being priced at £229.99 and the latter at £279.99.

Toshiba AT200 Excite will Measure 7.7mm Thick

Toshiba will soon launch a new tablet called the AT200. This new model is the next generation version of the original AT100. The new Toshiba tablet will have a 10.1 inch screen with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. It will run the Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system and be powered by a 1.2GHz TI OMAP 4430 processor.

Amazon Tablet to Launch in October – Rumour

A report today from Digitimes is hinting that Amazon could be launching one of its tablets sometime in October this year. At the moment it is believed that two Amazon Tablets will launch with one having a 7 inch screen and the other having a 10.1 inch screen. The 7 inch tablet is the one that is rumoured to be arriving in October with the 10.1 inch model launching early next year.

Evernote for iOS gets Rich Text Support

Evernote has rolled out an update for both the iPhone and iPad versions of the app. The new iOS versions bring the much needed rich text support to Evernote. Since the launch of the app, this feature has been demanded quite a bit by users as creating a note on the desktop version and then opening it to edit on the mobile version would simply lose all the formatting (such as bold, italics etc…). This is a huge plus for Evernote on iOS users.

Skype WiFi for iOS Launches

Skype has launched a new app for iOS devices called Skype WiFi. The app lets you use Skype Credit to pay for WiFi access, by the minute, at a number of hotspots around the globe. The idea behind it is that you have a single service to log in to and then have an easy way to pay for what you use rather than paying for a full day usage at a time which is common in a number of places.
