The VPhone was on show at CES in Las Vegas last week. The VPhone comes from a company called Saygus, a small company based in Utah. The VPhone allows for two-way calls to be made on the Verizon network and is part of Verizon’s [VZ] Open Development initiative.
The VPhone’s hardware specs show that it has an 806MHz processor (Marvell PXA 310), has 512MB of flash memory, 256MB of RAM and can support up to 16GB SDHC cards. We managed to test the First ELSE Mobile Phone from a new company called ELSE Mobile at CES this week. From the few minutes we got to play with the phone you can tell they have a very unique and smart approach to the phone design. It was immediately easy to use and intuitive.
Panasonic have on display at CES 2010 a roadmap of memory cards that they are working on along with their potential speeds. What’s interesting to see here is at the top right of the page you’ll see a 2TB memory card which is quite an achievement (see larger version of the image below).
iFixit managed to quickly get their hands on the new phone from Google [GOOG] called the Nexus One that was announced and put on sale yesterday.
Sony have announced a new camera in the Alpha range called the Sony A450. The A450 DSLR is a cut down version of the A500 in some ways in that it has a 14.2 megapixel CMOS sensor (same as the A500) but lacks fast-AF live view and lacks the tilting/swivelling screen.

The Mag Pix is a full HD camcorder that can capture video at full 1080p HD resolution. The camera captures 1920 x 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second with H.264 encoding. The Mag Pix 1080p it’s self measures 120 x 61 x 20 mm making it very portable too.
If you lack USB ports on your computer due to having a camera or two, MP3 player, mouse, keyboard, modem, USB flash drive and a plethora of other gadgets then this 24 port USB hub could answer the problem. As the name suggests, it allows you to connect up to 24 USB devices to it. The hub is powered by an AC adapter allowing you to loose no power when connecting up devices. Also there is plenty of power to keep compatible gadgets charging too.

The Photosmile 5000 is a system that allows you to capture 360 degree images of a product. Inside the Photosmile 5000 is a turntable that you place the object on. A rail system is also part of the device and allows the camera to be moved 90 degrees on an arc. Both the camera and the turntable are controlled by computer allowing the product to be spun 360 degrees while the camera takes the shots. This allows you to place the product in the Photosmile 5000 and leave the computer to move the object around.
