Apple [AAPL] has released the latest beta SDK today. The latest is now iPhone SDK 4 beta 3 that is ready for developers to download on the Apple site.
We haven’t taken a look yet as to what is included, but do recommend that if you plan on testing that you be prepared for the worst and anything you get will be better. What we have heard is that the camera now works on the iPhone with this beta installed, and it runs more stable than previous versions.
We do not know the official iPhone OS 4.0 release date just yet although some rumours are pointing to early June where it is also expected that the Apple iPhone 4G will be launched. [Read more…]

The Microsoft Kin One and Kin Two handsets are launching in the next week or so. We hear that pre-orders are starting on May 6 with a launch date of May 13. This is for both the Kin One and Kin Two.
In the May edition of the Vodafone magazine a picture of the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini can be found indicating that it will be launching soon on that network. This is just the X10 Mini though and there is no mention of the X10 Mini Pro this time around.
Nokia today announced the Nokia X2. The X2 is part of the Xseries line-up of phones which currently includes the X3 and the X6.
The Nokia N8 has a 12 megapixel camera sensor allowing it to capture HD video at 720p. The video below shows a video captured on the device. Nokia point out that the video captured wasn’t modified in anyway and also mention the software used is an early build which indicates the quality could be slightly improved by enhancing the video processing.
In Store Solutions have launched a new webcam for Skype that allows 720p HD video calling. The camera is called the FREETALK Everyman HD and costs $49.
TomTom [TOM2] today announced a new satnav device called the TomTom Go Live 1000. The device is capable of bringing real-time services to users which we will go in to more detail shortly.
