Apple Tablet Prototype Spotted by Analyst

Apple-TabletOver the last few months we have seen the occasional rumour about the upcoming Apple Tablet (if that’s what it’s going to be called). Rumours seem to be getting more frequent now and the most recent one claims that an analyst (anonymous) has seen the tablet with his own eyes.

No details were revealed about the Apple Tablet and previous to this information we can only guess that it will feature a 10″ screen and basically look like a large iPod Touch with multimedia specialities. [Read more…]

DIY Paper Record Player

DIY-Paper-Record-PlayerPerhaps this DIY Paper Record Player is one of the best hacked gadgets I have seen in a long time.

To build it the creator simply got a sheet of paper and rolled it in to a funnel while attaching a small needle on to the end of the paper with sticky tape. He then holds the funnel to the record while using their other hand to rotate the record which then the funnel pumps out the music. [Read more…]

RightMove iPhone App Puts a Million Properties in your Pocket

RightMove is one of the big names in the UK housing market. They list millions of properties for sale and rent. They have now launched a new iPhone App which aims to put the housing market right in your pocket. By using your current co-ordinates it helps you track down houses for sale in the exact location where you are. You also can browse while out and about and scan through photos of the houses on offer as well as having the capability to call the agents to arrange viewings.

The slideshow feature lets you scroll through images easily in full screen mode. As well as being able to call agents as needed, you also have the option of emailing agents right from your iPhone. Check the video after the jump. [Read more…]

Nikon Projector Camera Rumour

nikon-projector-cameraNikon are rumoured to be releasing details of a new digital camera next week named the VP650. The Nikon VP650 is unique in that it is rumoured to include a pico projector inside allowing you to see larger images on a wall.

Earlier speculations indicate that the camera will be a point-and-shoot and will be announced this month and launched next month (September). The pico projector built in is said to be capable of projecting 8 x 12 good quality images in a darkened room. [Read more…]
