Google Nexus S Android 2.3.6 Android Update Released – Don’t Install
Google has released an OTA update for the Google Nexus S which is designed to fix a bug with the voice search functions of the device. The new Android release is 2.3.6 which Google has begun pushing out this weekend.
Apple Begin Selling Unlocked iPhone 4 in the US
In the US, Apple has begun selling an unlocked GSM version of the iPhone 4. The cost is $649 and for that you get the unlocked iPhone 4 compatible with GSM networks. It comes with no microSIM card.
Microsoft Streetside Will Arrive in Europe Soon
Microsoft has begun photographing Europe with its camera cars. The service is called Streetside and has been available in the US since December 2009. The service is described as being a direct competitor to the popular Google StreetView service.
Microsoft set out camera cars yesterday in London to capture images of the streets and map them in to a virtual world. When the camera cars have finished in London, they will then start tackling major cities across Europe although Microsoft is taking a slightly different approach in that it will only capture major cities and attractions rather than every single road across Europe like Google does.

Microsoft Pushes Out First Windows Phone 7 Update
Microsoft has begun to distribute its first Windows Phone 7 update. It’s actually the second update technically, although the first was pushed out to prepare the device to get further updates.
The new update brings several new features to smartphones which includes copy and paste, faster start and resume time for apps, improved category search in the Marketplace as well as various other performance increases.
The update is numbered 7300 and began rolling out yesterday to WP7 smartphone users. [Read more…]
IE9 from Microsoft Looks Set to Launch March 24
For Microsoft users, you wont have to wait too much longer now as it seems that IE9 will be available for download on March 24. This is a slight delay from the March 14th that we originally thought the release date will be.

Its exactly as the title suggests… If it’s not Sony’s, it could explode. This is regarding Sony’s press release about counterfeit playstation controllers.
Sony have stated that a number of controllers, that “identical in appearance to genuine PlayStation 3 wireless controllers,” have begun to sprout around the market. The company have also said that the “quality, reliability, and safety of counterfeit products is uncertain.”
