When Apple created the iPhone it seemed to be the benchmark for what other phones should at least be like. Each time a new smartphone was launched people asked if it would be an “iPhone Killer”.
Of course with the launch of the Apple iPad in a few weeks it seems companies are now wanting to create “iPad Killers”. ASUS are said to be pretty confident with their ASUS Eee Pad creation and believe that the iPad from Apple [AAPL] offers nothing that the Eee Pad cannot achieve. Eric Chen, the VP of ASUS Systems Business Group has said that the iPad is nothing but a big iPhone and due to that, the iPad won’t be able to command the same market share that the iPhone has achieved. Wired have demonstrated what their tablet based reader will run like. The Wired Reader app aims to immerse the user in real magazine content that hasn’t been altered by HTML. The content is designed on the Adobe InDesign software and allows users to seamlessly scroll around a magazine on a dual-navigation system that lets you scroll both horizontally and vertically.
Samsung have unveiled their Samsung N150 LTE netbook that has a 10.1 inch WSVGA screen and an Intel Atom N450 Pine Trail processor. The new netbook’s screen has a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and is backlit by LED. The netbook has the option of a touchscreen if desired.
An image was posted on the ppcgeeks forum that shows the alleged date for the HTC HD2 to launch on the T-Mobile network in the US. The date shown on the image says we can expect the phone on March 24. No other information on the HD2 is provided other than it being Windows mobile based.
The Sony Ericsson X1 is normally a Windows Mobile based smartphone, however, this particular X1 has been modified and now runs a version of Android.
Dell have launched the Adamo Admire that is priced below $1000 running at $999. What you get for $999 is a super slim great looking laptop that has a 720p HD screen measuring 13.4 inches. The processor isn’t the fastest at 1.4GHz although it is an Intel Core 2 Duo.

Acer have launched their latest Intel Atom N450 processor netbook called the Acer Aspire One 532h. The new Aspire One runs a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, has 1GB of DDR2 memory and for storage it has a 160GB SATA hard drive.
