Notion Ink Adam Pre-Orders Start Today

In a few hours from now at 1:30pm EST, the Notion Ink Adam will be made available for pre-order. At that time, the tablet will be available to existing commenter’s and then at 7:30pm EST it will be available for pre-order for those who haven’t commented or registered an interest on the site..

We have heard of a few release dates for the Sony PlayStation phone, one of which was this week (which isn’t correct) and another that says February.

Nexus S Release Date and Pricing Revealed for US/UK

Yesterday was a good day for Android fans as we saw the Android 2.3 OS being made available to Nexus One owners and we also got the Nexus S release date which is confirmed as being December 16 in the US and December 20 in the UK.

We also now know the price tag for the Nexus S and have found that in the US, it will be priced at $199 locked on contract for 2 years or if you prefer it unlocked and off contract, it costs $529. Best Buy in the US will have exclusive rights to sell the Nexus S. [Read more…]

Viber is a VOiP iPhone app that allows you to make free phone calls to other Viber users wherever they are around the globe. The app requires no in-app purchase to be made and all you do is simply install it and use it.

Playstation Phone Captured Again on Clearer Video

Someone has managed to get hold of a Playstation Phone and give a very brief demo. The good side is that this is the clearest video we have seen of the Playstation Phone, but at the same time, no games are available to show being played on it.

The video shows the phone opened up with the control pad section opened up. The user then taps on a Playstation icon which loads up the PS library. Once in there it says on screen that there are no content items. [Read more…]

Google Doodles Go Live on Mobiles

Since 1998, Google has once in a while produced what is called a Google Doodle. The Google Doodles are re-drawn Google Logos that are used on specific days where something important happened in history such as man landing on the moon.

These have always been restricted to the desktop version of Google though, but now are being pushed out to mobile browsers such as m.google.com on the iPhone and Android devices. [Read more…]

Angry Birds Seasons Now Available for iOS Devices

Angry Birds Seasons has been launched by Rovio on all iOS devices which includes iPhone, iPad and the iPod touch.

The Angry Birds Seasons game was already released yesterday for Android devices. The new game includes the Halloween and Christmas versions and we assume with it being “seasons” it will include more events over the coming year. [Read more…]

Evernote has launched the Evernote 2.0 beta for Mac. The new version has a number of new features such as in-app notebook sharing as well as Notebooks Stacks.

iOS Now Top of US Smartphone OS Share

Apple [AAPL] has passed RIM in the US and now holds the top spot for smartphones by a fraction of a percent.

Reports indicate that the total smartphone share (compared to feature phone share) is at 29.7 percent. When the smartphone section is broken down (seen below in the graph), iOS is showing to have a 27.9 percent share. This is now slightly ahead of RIM that has 27.4 percent. [Read more…]

PlayStation Phone Captured on Video

The PlayStation Phone has been spotted over in Greece. The device is said to have a 4 inch screen and run the new Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread update.

The video, embedded below, doesn’t show the games controller being slid out, but what you do see is a slightly blurry look at someone using the user-interface on the PlayStation phone. The menus look fairly smooth and there’s also a hint of customisation to the UI. [Read more…]

Motorola Olympus Captured on Camera

More pictures of the Motorola Olympus have been sent in to Gizmodo. This time, the phone was found in a flea market. The person managed to capture some pictures of the device, in a good resolution and not blurry which makes a change.

Things known about the phone show that it runs Android 2.2 as the OS. Its model number is MB860 and inside, a Tegra 2 chip can be found. [Read more…]
