Two new Sony Alpha cameras have leaked on to the internet. The first is the Sony a560 and the second, the Sony a580.
The Sony a560 has a 14 megapixel sensor. The camera it’s self is similar to the Sony a33 that we mentioned the other day although this one is not a pellix camera. The ISO range of the camera works from 100-12800. It is capable of capturing video in 1080i. The camera has 15 AF points with some of those cross-point. [Read more…]

Apple [AAPL] looks to be currently testing iOS 4.1 on a number of devices which includes the unannounced iPod touch 4, iPad and an unknown product (perhaps iTV).
Details of the Canon Powershot G12 were briefly uploaded by Cnet Asia. The Canon G12 is the next in line and is expected to be unveiled officially soon.

Sanyo is launching a “Dual Camera” called the Sanyo VPC-PD2BK. From what we can figure out the dual camera means that the camera is capable of capturing both stills and video rather than just being restricted to video.
Rumours are circulating about the next generation Sony PSP. The rumours say that the next version will be the same size as the PSP-3000 model and that it will have touch-sensitive controls on the back of the unit.
The Facebook iPhone app was updated last night to version 3.2. Along with a few bug fixes, a new service was launched called Facebook Places. Facebook Places aims to tackle the likes of Foursquare and Gowalla as a location check-in service that lets you post where abouts you are.
Nikon has announced the Nikon D3100 Digital SLR camera. The new version of the camera allows full HD video to be captured in 1080p and has full time auto focus built in.
