Samsung have unveiled their Samsung N150 LTE netbook that has a 10.1 inch WSVGA screen and an Intel Atom N450 Pine Trail processor. The new netbook’s screen has a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and is backlit by LED. The netbook has the option of a touchscreen if desired.
RAM on the N150 netbook is set at 1GB and for storage it has a 250GB hard drive. For connectivity the netbook has Bluetooth and wireless LAN. 3G connectivity is also being made available.
Three different operating systems can be chosen from when ordering the Samsung N150 which are all Windows based. You get the choice of Windows XP Home, 7 Starter or 7 Home Basic. Samsung have confirmed that they are currently working on a Chrome OS based netbook that could launch late this year. The Samsung Chrome OS Netbook won’t be added to their current lineup until late this year which could mean a launch later on this year, but also possibly in to 2011.

What this allows is a fairly decent netbook in terms of performance as well as longer battery lives than the previous Intel Atom processors available at the end of last year.
