Contractor Hints at Sprint Installing Repeaters at Apple
A contractor has claimed that he has been asked to install a CDMA/3G and a WiMAX repeater within the Apple store in Austin. A repeater is a device that strengthens the signal of a network in a specific area. Normally, these are not installed within specific stores.
Sprint seems to be following on from what Verizon and AT&T has done in the past and that is, they could be preparing for a lot of iPhone traffic around the area within the next month or so.

Evernote for iOS gets Rich Text Support
Evernote has rolled out an update for both the iPhone and iPad versions of the app. The new iOS versions bring the much needed rich text support to Evernote. Since the launch of the app, this feature has been demanded quite a bit by users as creating a note on the desktop version and then opening it to edit on the mobile version would simply lose all the formatting (such as bold, italics etc…). This is a huge plus for Evernote on iOS users.

Amazon Kindle Cloud Reader Launches for iPad, PC and Mac
Apple recently changed the terms of iOS which basically put in restrictions on purchasing products within an iOS app. After companies felt the terms were a bit harsh, Apple toned down the rules a bit. But the general problem is that apps like the Kindle App for iPad/iPhone couldn’t link direct to the Amazon store for book purchases. This means that users need to manually open up Safari, buy a book and then go back to the Kindle app to download and read it. Although the solution is still completely mobile, it just adds in awkward steps that didn’t go down well with some Kindle users.
