ViewSonic has introduced a couple of new devices just ahead of MWC that kicks off in a few days time.
First on the list is the ViewPad 10Pro that is described as being a professional tablet. It has a 10 inch screen and is capable of dual booting between Windows 7 Professional and Android 2.2. The idea behind this is that the user uses Android for email and basic web browsing, but switches to Windows when a little more kick is needed. HP has announced a new tablet called the HP TouchPad. The TouchPad is a webOS 3.0 device that has a 9.7 inch XGA capacitive touch screen. The 9.7 inch screen has 1024 x 768 pixels.

The LG Optimus 3D is one of the first phones to have a 3D screen along with a dual-camera setup on the back to capture pictures. Others have been made but generally, those didn’t hit mainstream over this way.
Earlier today we mentioned that Sony Ericsson was to officially announce the Xperia Play smartphone this coming weekend at MWC. Since that announcement, O2 in the UK has now stepped up to indicate that they will be carrying the Xperia Play on its network. O2 made the announcement on its official Twitter feed this morning.
New information today reveals that Google might be releasing a new version of Android as early as April. The new version will be designed for smartphones and will follow along with the 2.X branch being called Android 2.4. Here’s something interesting though as it is now believed that Google will call Android 2.4 Gingerbread even though Gingerbread already exists as 2.3.
Nokia has announced the launch of the Nokia E7. The new business class smartphone will begin shipping to select markets this week although the company haven’t specified exactly where that is.
