Motorola Droid Product Pages Leaked

verizon_motorola_droid_spec_sheet_1Motorola have published the product pages for the new Motorola Droid phone due out soon. However, the page was only online for a brief amount of time. We won’t go in to why we think it was pulled so quick, but what it did reveal is the official specs for the phone.

The phone will have a 3.7 inch screen at a 16:9 aspect ratio that will display 480 x 854 pixels. Of course, it will also be touchscreen and we assume capacitive. A 5 megapixel autofocus camera will be found ont he back that will be capable of 4x digital zoom. The camera will also have a dual LED flash. Battery life see’s the Droid powered for 385 minutes of talk time along with 270 hours of standby and has a capacity of 1400mAh.

The processor running the Droid is clocked at 550MHz and connectivity is as can be expected with Wireless b/g, Bluetooth and EVDO Rev.A. [Read more…]

Dell Adamo XPS Pics

Dell-Adamo-XPS-OpenA few weeks ago the Dell Adamo XPS was very briefly spotted but only closed up and only for a minute or so. Then shortly after some official pictures showed up that showed the slim notebook from the side and also closed up.

PCMag managed to get a brief but of time with the XPS today which was originally touted as launching today along with Windows 7, however, this is not the case according to Dell. [Read more…]

Apple iMac Updated

Apple-iMacApple [AAPL] have also updated their iMac range today with two new models. The first has a screen measuring 21.5 inches while the larger has a screen measuring 27 inches. To finish off the design the screens are covered in edge to edge glass to give the new iMac a nice look.

Each of the new model screens are backlit by LED giving a nice bright and vibrant screen to look at while working. On to what powers the new iMac’s, each of them have a few options each. The 21.5 inch and 27 inch iMac’s can have either a 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 3MB of L2 cache, or a 3.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor with 6MB of L2 cache. The 27 inch model also has the option of a 2.66GHz quad core Intel Core i5 processor with 8MB of L3 cache along with Turbo Boost Dynamic performance up to 3.2GHz, or you can opt for a 2.8GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor with 8MB of L3 cache with turbo boost performance up to 3.46GHz along with hyper-threading up to eight virtual cores. Apple Mac Mini Updated

Apple-Mac-MiniApple [AAPL] have also updated their Apple Mac Mini today. The new Mac Mini measures 2 inches high, 6.5 inches wide, 6.5 inches deep and weighs just 2.9 pounds.

The Mac Mini has a number of optional processors when buying it which include a 2.26GHz, 2.53GHz, 2.66Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor along with 3MB of on-chip L2 cache and a 1066MHz FSB. 2GB of RAM is standard on the MacMini although this can be upgraded to 4GB if needed. [Read more…]

Apple MacBook Updated

Apple-MacBookApple [AAPL] have launched their latest Apple MacBook that now comes with a more durable unibody enclosure being made of rugged polycarbonate that can take a bit of general abuse that laptops tend to see day to day.

The new Apple MacBook’s weigh 4.7 pounds and measure 1.08 in thickness making them quite slim. The MacBook measures 13 inches across and 9.12 inches deep. Power wise, the MacBook runs a 2.26GHz Core 2 Duo Processor that has 3MB of on-chip L2 cache. Also a 1066MHz frontside bus is utilised. Memory wise the MacBook supports up to 4GB of RAM although standard see’s it supplied with 2GB. For storage the standard model has a 250GB harddrive. [Read more…]

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 – Previously Known as X3

sony-xperiax-3We have mentioned the Sony Ericsson Xperia X3 a few times over the last month or so, but now we hear that it will probably be named the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 instead. The release date of the X10 is set to be February 2010 where it will be officially revealed just before at MWC 2010.

Although it will get revealed at MWC 2010, we might get some sort of official announcement in early November according to gsmarena. [Read more…]

TomTom Go I-90 In-Dash SatNav

tomtom-go-i90TomTom have created a new satnav system that fits in the dashboard of your car. It is called the TomTom Go I-90 and is designed to fit in a standard double DIN slot completely replacing the onboard stereo that was there before.

Included in the I-90 is an FM radio along with RDS support. AM reception is also possible and the unit has a USB connector allowing MP3 players to be connected. It isn’t known if the unit has Bluetooth although the press release does refer to compatibility with an extensive list of phones for hands free calling. Nook eBook Reader – Barnes & Noble Color eBook Reader Launching

Barnes-and-Noble-eBook-ReaderAccording to WSJ, they spotted an ad showing the Barnes & Noble color eBook reader saying it will be called Nook and will be going on sale Tuesday (today) priced at $259.

The price tag matches that of the Amazon Kindle but rather than being stuck with just greyscale you’ll get color on the Nook.

Acer Aspire AS1410 CULV Netbook Gets Priced

AS1410-keyboard-shot-512x500Acer have perhaps created a fantastic netbook here in the shape of the Acer Aspire AS1410 CULV. The AS1410 has a fair bit of power inside that includes a Celeron SU2300 1.2GHz processor that has 1MB of L2 Cache and an 800MHz front side bus. Also included in the Aspire AS1410 is 2GB of DDR2 memory that can be upgraded to 4GB.

The screen measures 11.6 inches and has a HD widescreen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The screen is lit by LED and Acer call it their CineCrystal. Due to the larger 11.6″ screen you can also expect a decent sized keyboard on this netbook. Acer say the keyboard is full size which is especially handy on small devices. [Read more…]

Canon EOS-1D Mark IV Announced

canon-eos-mark-iv-press-rm-eng1Canon have announced the Mark 4 version of their EOS-1D camera. The camera comes with a 16.1 megapixel sensor with an ISO range of 100 to 12,800 native all the way up to 102,400.

Other features in the Canon EOS-1D Mark IV include a 45 point area autofocus that is customixable along with 39 high precision cross type focusing points. To capture and process the image the camera has two Digic 4 processors and thanks to all this power the camera can capture full HD video at 1080p.

The camera will be priced at around $5000 (estimation) although some have pointed out that 1D series cameras are typically below $4000 for body only setups. [Read more…]
