Wind Charm Alarm Clock

windchime-alarm-clockThe Wind Chime Alarm Clock features 10 metal pipes that bump in to each other making a chiming noise. It’s a more of a gentle way to wake up rather then a sonic bomb clock that throws you out of bed.

The clock has both 12 and 24 hour modes, shows the date, has a stop watch function and 2 different alarm modes. The 2 choices of alarm modes are just a regular beep, or the wind chimes clattering against each other. [Read more…]

Virgin Media 200 Meg Broadband

virgin_mediaVirgin Media have started a pilot test on a new 200MB broadband service. A bunch of lucky “early adopters/testers” get to try the service for the next 6 months down in Ashford in Kent. 100 of these lucky lucky users will be providing feedback to Virgin about the service, performance and after the 6 month trial is up Virgin will make a decision based on the feedback given as to whether users want the service or not. We want it, assuming it actually works as good as they say it does. [Read more…]

Lego Sunglasses – Crazy?

I’m not quite 100% convinced with this pair of sunglasses. They feature Lego arms which allow you to connect up Lego bricks of any variety to them. Weather it be blocks, Lego men, Lego Space, Lego whatever you can connect it up and for the seriously adverturous you could make a whole helmet to wrap around your head.

My thoughts are now that it falls in to the crazy category. The Lego sunglasses are designed and built by a French optical company named Lynx Optique.
