Dropbox has announced a new services called Dropbox for Teams. The new version is aimed at businesses that want to share files amongst a team of staff. The main difference is that with the business version, Dropbox provides an admin account that can be used to provide access to various folders.

Ultra-Thin MacBook Pro Could Lose Optical Drive
Apple [AAPL] could be working on an ultra-thin MacBook Pro from what we hear today. The information hints that to get the MacBook Pro thinner the company will remove the optical drive and make an external option available for those that want it.
iMessage and AirPlay Mirroring Could Arrive on OS X
Rumours are suggesting that Mac OS X Lion could be getting AirPlay Mirroring as well as an iMessage app. Although these new features are not confirmed yet, and could therefore not make it to a full release, we are hearing that users will soon be able to get access to more iOS features on the Mac.
AirPlay Mirroring was introduced with iOS 5 and lets users of an iPad or iPhone wirelessly transfer the contents of a device to a TV or projector connected up to an Apple TV.
Tablets, Phones and Other Devices To get Ubuntu by 2014
Canonical has announced that it is working on bringing the Ubuntu operating system to various tablets, phones and televisions. The new version of the OS isn’t coming any time soon though and could be as far away as 2014 before it appears officially on various smartphones and tablets.
Samsung Phones to Get Flexible Screens in 2012
Samsung announced on an earnings call last week that in 2012 the company will begin to put flexible screens in to smartphones.
“The flexible display we are looking to introduce sometime in 2012, hopefully the earlier part. The application probably will start from the handset side.”
Three new iPhone 4S TV Ads Launch
Apple [AAPL] has released three new iPhone 4S ads for TV in the US. The new ads show a few of the 4S key features such as Siri, iCloud and photos.
Google TV Update Coming This Week
Google [GOOG] has announced that it will be rolling out a new update this week to bring more features to Google TV.
iPhone 4S Battery Life Possible Temporary Fix
The iPhone 4S battery can be terrible for some. It has been widely reported online that a number of users are not getting to the end of the day (or even end of business hours) without having to recharge or let their new iPhone 4S battery die.
It appears to be more of a software issue than a hardware issue as a number of users have been testing switching off the location service for setting the the time zone. It appears that iOS 5 on the 4S has a problem with regularly checking what timezone a user is in and this repeat checking of the current location is using up a lot of battery power.
iOS Maps Could Move to the Next Level with C3 Technologies Company
iOS devices use Google Maps by default for mapping purposes. The interface and usability has been almost the same since the launch of the iPhone in 2007. Apple [AAPL] could be looking at stepping up the mapping game though by introducing 3D graphics. Apple purchased a company called C3 Technologies that provides 3D maps. This is the second mapping company that was acquired by Apple.
Samsung Galaxy S II and Note to Get Android 4.0
The Samsung Galaxy S II and the Galaxy Note will each get an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The details were confirmed by Samsung in Italy who also said that the Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy Tab 8.9, Galaxy Tab 7.7 and the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus would also be getting the update.
iPhone 4 Siri Port Now Working
Since the launch of the iPhone 4S a handful of developers have been working on getting Siri ported on to other iOS 5 devices. Progress in the beginning wasn’t the best as only the GUI was ported over. One developer has now managed to successfully port Siri over to the iPhone 4 (and iPod touch) and get it talking to the servers at Apple.
Porsche Design BlackBerry P’9981 Revealed
RIM and Porsche has unveiled a new BlackBerry smartphone. It is called the P’9981 and is a special edition device. When launched later this year, you’ll be able to pick one up at a Porsche Design store. More on the price later on.
