Rumours are going around about Apple [AAPL] unveiling their next gen iPhone 4G, or iPhone HD or whatever it’s going to be called. The date rumoured is June 22
“For this particular occasion, Apple has once again reserved the very conference center where the company announced the three previous versions of the iPhone,” Messany reports. “So all signs, indeed, point to June 22nd proving the 4th gen iPhone’s ‘big day.’ Knowing Apple, however, we probably won’t know for sure until the evening of June 21st.”
Obviously this doesn’t provide concrete evidence, but it’s certainly the “right” time of year for Apple to make such an announcement (if they are indeed launching a new iPhone this year) and if they have followed the same pattern for the last 3 years then it makes sense they would hold it at the same location. There’s a few cameras that come with the ability to capture video at a silly amount of frames per second rate nearing the 1000 mark and slightly above. However, such cameras normally work at a really low resolution of double digit resolutions.
HTC are assessing the possibility of developing their own operating system for smartphones. Reasons for this seem to include their ever growing popularity as smartphone manufacturers and their current reliance on operating systems primarily from Microsoft [MSFT] and Google [GOOG]. If they develop their own OS they will become an independent platform allowing them to create what they want.
We are hearing rumours today that Adobe are preparing to file a lawsuit against Apple [AAPL]. The rumours say that this is related to the changes in the iPhone OS 4.0 SDK which essentially blocked Adobe from working on the iPhone with their 3rd party software.

This Nintendo Gameboy has had a port added that allows it to transmit video signals to a TV via a custom built box.
BGR managed to get their hands on the full spec sheet for the HTC Incredible. Notable features include a 3.7 inch OLED capacitive touchscreen that has a WVGA resolution. Inside is a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
Apple [AAPL] have updated their line of Apple MacBook Pro laptops today by introducing Core i5 and Core i7 processors in to the devices. Each screen size MacBook Pro has received a faster processor, next generation graphics and up to 10 hours of battery life.
The Apple Store has gone down this morning which indicates new things are happening. This as usual, is world wide from what we can see.
Microsoft [MSFT] unveiled the Microsoft Kin social networking phones. The main features of the Kin phones are their social networking abilities. The whole user interface revolves around sharing with friends and keeping up to date with what’s happening.
Apple [AAPL] have approved the Google Mobile App for the iPad. If you already had the Google Mobile App on your iPad previously, you would have noticed that it was pretty much a scaled up version. With the iPad version of the app now being official, it has been re done to fit the larger screen.
Nokia [NOK] have announced the launch of three new phones. These are the Noika C3, Nokia C6 and the Nokia E5. Each of the new handsets features a QWERTY keyboard with two of them looking similar to Blackberry devices and the other having a QWERTY keyboard that slides out to the side in landscape mode.
