Nokia have unveiled a new smartphone called the Nokia C5. The C5 is the beginning of a new series of phones called the Nokia Cseries that ads to the already available Xseries as well as unannounced phones in the Eseries and Nseries.
The C5 sits right in the middle of the Cseries class and runs the Series 60 3rd Edition symbian operating system. It has a 2.2 inch screen along with a 3.2 megapixel camera. Software wise, it comes pre-installed with Ovi Maps allowing for free navigation in a number of countries around the globe.

Nokia have just launched a new firmware for the Nokia N97 smartphone. The new firmware ready for download is version 21.0.0.045.
Nokia have built a concept idea that is called the Mobile Radar. Mobile Radar is capable of measuring an objects distance and speed as well as direction all on a mobile phone. The screen shows all the details such as if they are travelling towards or away from you and how fast they are moving.
Nokia [NOK] have announced the release of the first major update for the Nokia N900. The update follows a minor update that was released earlier this week. This particular major update brings a number of improvements to the N900 including full compatibility with all SIM’s on the Three network as some of them previously were not able to work correctly.
Nokia have revealed pictures of the new Symbian UI and what they are planning to make it look like. Nokia have mentioned that for next year they are releasing just one Maemo smartphone and will be spending the rest of the time concentrating on the Symbian OS.
Rogers Wireless announced yesterday that they will be bringing the Nokia 6750 on to their network. The Nokia 6750 is a mobile designed for those who want access to social networking on the go.
We hear today that those who have pre-ordered a Nokia X6 will be getting them very soon as they have started to ship.
Nokia are now shipping the Nokia N900 running Maemo 5 in the US.
Nokia have announced the Nokia 6700 slide phone. The phone is a 3G slider phone that design wise, comes in a number of colours which includes pink, red, petrol blue, aluminium, lime and purple. The phone is also slimline.
