HTC and Dropbox have created a partnership which will see new HTC smartphone users getting a free Dropbox account with 5GB of storage. Normal Dropbox accounts come with 2GB of storage which makes this quite an interesting deal.

Google Wallet Officially Announced
Google Wallet has been officially announced today. The new service, which we have seen before, allows you to use your NFC equipped Android smartphone to pay for products. At the moment the launch is exclusive to the Sprint network in the US which means that any other variation of the Nexus S currently isn’t usable for now.

7 Inch Motorola Tablet Spotted
The tablet pictured below is believed to be the next generation Motorola Android Tablet. The screen size hasn’t been confirmed although estimates hint at it being 7 inches. What makes this image quite interesting is that the tablet is also quite slim.
Amazon AppStore Goes Live Outside the US
The Amazon AppStore has gone live in a number of locations around the world. The service up till today was only available for those in the US. At the time of writing this, Amazon hasn’t made any formal announcement although there’s a number of reports of various countries now getting access to the service.
Google Voice Actions Arrive in the UK
Google has pushed out Voice Actions to Android smartphone users in the UK, France, Italy, Germany and Spain. The service now works in British English as well as French, Italian, German and Spanish. Voice Actions lets you control your smartphone by spoken commands. By telling your phone what to do, it will do it. Actions include sending a text message, calling, navigation, map, directions as well as performing a Google search.
HTC Rhyme Press Photos Leaked
Some press shots of the HTC Rhyme have leaked. The device was formerly known as the HTC Bliss although it’s now the Rhyme. Although no details have been provided by the leak, we do see that it runs HTC Sense 3.5 which is a more spruced up version when compared to the previous version.
HTC Sensation XE Launching October 7 in the UK
The HTC Sensation XE has been announced today. The device is a replacement for the original Sensation and comes with upgraded specs which includes Beats Audio. The XE is the first device from HTC to utilise Beats Audio and comes with enhanced sound capabilities which includes some in-ear headphones from Dr. Dre.

Earlier today a picture of the HTC Runnymede was posted online. We now have a second picture that shows the back of the device as well as a side profile.
HTC Could Buy webOS from HP
HTC has confirmed that it is considering buying a mobile operating system. No particular OS has been named and HTC isn’t buying on impulse. However, one good option that I am sure they are looking at is webOS as HP dropped it in the past month.
Samsung Nexus Prime Spec Rumors Appear
The Samsung Nexus Prime is expected to launch sometime in November. At the moment we don’t know too much about the device although some specs are starting to leak (perhaps as rumour). The device has the model name of GT-i9250 and when it launches it will run the Ice Cream Sandwich version of Google Android.
