Apple [AAPL] is believed to have created some iPad 2 adverts. The commercials were shot in New Yorks Pier 59 by a photographer called David Sims from Britain. The commercials were said to use the current iPad first gen model although it is believed these particular shots containing the iPad will be switched out with iPad 2s when launch time approaches.
One of the participants told us that even though there weren’t any new products on the scene, everyone had to sign non-disclosure documents and security was tight.
One of the functions lacking in Windows Phone 7 is the ability to copy and paste text between apps. This could be changing soon though as Arpan Shah of Microsoft [MSFT] said in a blog post…
Critics have commented on the lack of specific features like copy & paste and lack of 100s of thousands of applications. And while both are true, copy & paste will be available as an update in a matter of weeks (early 2011) and as for applications, it’s just a matter of time.
We’ve seen Windows Phone 7 before on the HD2 although only a few screen shots have been revealed.

Translated, this particular tweet says…
Prepare your Nexus One (Developer version) for Android OTA update 2.3 (Gingerbread) for the next few days 😀
Though hounded by constant delays and unconfirmed release dates, it does seem however that a real actual launch time is immanent with thanks to Polyphony Digital’s announcement that they are now working on Gran Turismo number 6.

The Ninja Gaiden series in general has always been notoriously difficult for those less coordinated of gamers and is by no means casual-gamer friendly, but does on the other hand, provide great visuals, stunning boss fights and decent gameplay.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab has a large 7 inch screen. This causes some problems for some of the apps in that they don’t scale out to use the full screen by default.
Good news is that a handy app is available in the Market Place that allows you to change settings and stretch out those games and apps that run at a smaller resolution. [Read more…]

Although the cost of 25,000 Dell Venue Pro smartphones isn’t cheap, the company will actually save around 25% of phone costs due to paying contracts for Blackberry devices as well as handset costs. [Read more…]
Reports today are showing a leaked document from Best Buy that indicates the Samsung Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi only version is being delayed till early 2011. The document says it is being delayed (Post Holiday) as seen in the image below.
The Verizon Embedded version (WiFi+3G model) requires that the device is activated at time of purchase. Android Life believe this could mean a data plan is required which can then be canceled, but perhaps this just means you have to register it on the network and then its your own choice if you actually sign up to a plan. We’ll find out for more soon. [Read more…]
