No Confirmed Release For Gran Turismo 5 Yet But 6 Now In Development

Though hounded by constant delays and unconfirmed release dates, it does seem however that a real actual launch time is immanent with thanks to Polyphony Digital’s announcement that they are now working on Gran Turismo number 6.

But surprise, surprise, there’s been a reluctancy to give out any further information asides for the fact that GT 6 is in development.

From the series creator Kazunori Yamauchi…

“It’s not something that we can talk that lightly on… It took 2,000 days to get all the ideas that went into GT5. It’s just too early to be talking about GT6.”

2000 is a lot of time for a game. Will this affect unit sales once the title finally arrives in stores?

As posted on Gadget Venue previously, no official statement has been given for GT 5’s release date as Sony remains tight-lipped even though a November 30th release has been posted on their official online store. But Sony say that this is only a placeholder.

We’re beginning to think that this may be some big marketing plan… Perhaps a surprise launch event could well be on the cards. What do you think?

HAHA Funny, they continuously delay Gran Turismo 5, and now they’re talking about a new Gran Turismo already? You have to be insane if you’re going to announce this already, because judging by the unbelievable number delays Gran Turismo 5 had to go through, there won’t be a Gran Turismo 6 until around 2017 on a PS4.
