An interesting tweet went out recently by Alvaro Fuentes that indicates the Google Nexus One will be getting an OTA update this week (developers handsets only) bringing Android from 2.2 to version 2.3 aka Gingerbread.
Translated, this particular tweet says…
Prepare your Nexus One (Developer version) for Android OTA update 2.3 (Gingerbread) for the next few days 😀
We expect to hear a lot more on this particular subject this week. As well as Android 2.3 being launched to developers (if the rumors are correct), we also hear there will be a Samsung conference being held today which could provide even more details of Gingerbread.
