AppleInsider has reported that AirPrint in iOS 4.2 could be delayed indefinitely for those who would connect up to a printer on a Windows or Mac based device. Rather than being able to print to a shared printer as originally planned, it seems that this feature might be pulled out of iOS 4.2 and instead of using shared printers, the system might only work with wireless printers in the HP range.
Specifically, the five models mentioned are the following…
* HP Photosmart Premium Fax e-All-in-One Printer – C410
* HP Photosmart Premium e-All-in-One Printer series – C310
* HP Photosmart Plus e-All-in-One Printer series – B210
* HP ENVY 100 e-All-in-One Printer Series – D410
* HP Photosmart eStation Printer series – C510″

Although we are still several months away from Apple [AAPL] releasing the iPad 2, we continue to hear rumours about what will and will not be included. The latest rumour indicates that the second gen tablet will have a couple of cameras with one being 5 megapixels and the other being VGA, presumably for the front for FaceTime calls.
The new iOS 4.2 is still in beta (3rd beta to be exact) and it has already successfully been jailbroke. The iOS 4.2 jailbreak comes thanks to iH8sn0w who made the announcement on October 28 by showing the image above, also found

Apple [AAPL] approved a new app yesterday called iDOS. The app lets you run DOS on the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. Apple [AAPL] looks set to be changing one of the functions of the iPad in the next iOS update. When iOS 4.2 is released, the current orientation lock switch found on the top right of the device will suddenly be changed to a mute switch for switching sound off.
Some documents have been submitted to the European Trademarks and Designs Registration Office by Apple [AAPL] which reveal an iPad style device with two dock connectors. One is on the landscape side and the other in the usual portrait side. This isn’t the first time we have heard of an iPad with two dock connectors.
