Well it seems Microsoft’s Kinect will be launching with plenty to offer it’s gamers come release day, touted as a huge step forward as far as it’s tech is concerned and with kinect’s sole marketing ploy being controller-free gaming, should do reasonably well.
Microsoft also feeling very confident too as they’re pumping almost a billion dollars into thier marketing campaign and have now even cemented a spot on The Oprah Winfrey show as well to showcase the new toy. [Read more…]
When Call of Duty was released on the Xbox 360 and PS3, Ps3 owners had to wait for DLC. When GTA was released on the Xbox 360 and PS3, PS3 owners had to wait for DLC. Now it seems that the PS3 has once again been given the cold shoulder.
Not too long ago, it was announced that Sony’s PS3 will be receiving Netflix streaming without the need for disc support and it now seems, as of today, that Nintendo’s Wii will be receiving the same service too via the Wii Shop Channel.
For ages and ages I’ve been wanting to see this game on our next-gen consoles, I remember when it first came out on the Sega Dreamcast and it was around that time that I really started to get into Offspring. But I digress, the game back then garnered solid review scores due to its variety of mini-games, wacky characters and wicked soundtrack (hence the getting into The Offspring bit).
Halo: Reach is, at the moment, Microsoft’s shining star against a backdrop of run-of-the-mill first-person shooters which has received amazing reviews for its great (and tragic) storyline, beautiful design and fantastic gameplay. It sold in the region of

For a long time now, we’ve wondered if we would ever get the chance to play campaign mode on any game with anyone outside of your immediate friend circle. Soon on the horizon we may get to do just that, once the next big update arrives for Halo: Reach. Later this week in fact.
