The FujiFilm FinePix S2800HD has been announced by FujiFilm. The new digital camera has a 28mm-504mm high precision lens capable of an 18X optical zoom.
The sensor that captures images is 14 megapixels and is CCD. It has a high ISO sensitivity along with image stabilisation to prevent blurry pictures at high zoom ranges.
As the name suggests, the S2800HD is capable of capturing video in a HD format at 720p. The camera has a HDMI output port allowing you to playback the 720p video on a large HDTV. [Read more…]
Samsung has announced a new point and shoot digital camera called the Samsung PL200. The PL200 has a 14.2 megapixel sensor and sits in the mid-range P&S camera category.

First up is mention of the next generation Flip camera. The new camera will have Wi-Fi built in allowing you to more easily transfer files between devices or upload to Youtube direct without having to connect the Flip physically to a computer. We could expect to see wireless added to the Flip in time for Christmas although no specific announcement was made.
