The glass back of the iPhone is prone to scratching. Scratching the back is as easy as sitting the phone on a desk and sliding it along.
As well as being able to easily scratch the back, the glass is also scratched when using some third-party cases. This happens when some dust gets trapped between the case and the back of the phone and when the case is slid on or off.
