Erase-o-Matic Wipes Magnetic Data Clean

eraseomaticErase-o-Matic is a device which quickly wipes your magnetic media be it a floopy disk, hard disk, zip disk, VHS or USB flash drive. It requires no power and simply requires that you slide the media through the device a couple of times.

TI Boy – TI-84 Gameboy Emulator

A Gameboy Emulator has been created for the Texas Instruments graphic calculators. It is compatible with TI-83+SE, TI-84+, and TI-84+SE calculators and has advanced far enough that it does more then the original black and white that the first emulator was capable of. As of now it can render 4 greyscales and gives you the ability to switch over the blacks and whites.

The software was written by Brendan Fletcher and it runs on the Z-80 based calculators due to the CPU’s being similar. [Read more…]

DuoSense Touchscreen Controller – 10+ Touch Points

Fujitsu and N-Trig have teamed up to created a new touchscreen controller named DuoSense. The display is multitouch and will allow for 10 or more simultaneous touch points at very high refresh rates. Like it’s predecessor (also named the DuoSense) this controller also uses capacitive touch making it possible to use both pen and fingers if needed. The display is transparent and sits on top of your display. The electronics needed to run the DuoSense are tucked around the edge of the frame. [Read more…]

Asus Blu-Ray USB Drive

asus-blu-ray-usb-driveAsus have created a new Blu-Ray USB Drive. The drive has a read speed of 4.8x for BD’s and can read/write CD’s and DVD’s. Unfortunately it does not write BD’s though.

The Blu-Ray drive, numbered ASUS SBC-04D1S-U comes with a stand allowing it to be mounted vertically if needed. The downside of the drive (apart from the no writing BD thing) is that it’s tray loading rather then slot which I would have more expected with this unit. [Read more…]

Dell Android MID Rumoured
