Inspite of it’s massive launch earlier this month and selling millions of units world wide, the funky camera is still receiving a lot of stick from not so eager “hardcore” gamers. They have good reason too. Just taking a quick glance at the titles available at the moment, it seems to be the more casual gamer that will benefit the most from Microsoft’s latest tech with games tending to fall into family/party/minigame/rhythm gaming genres. Fable 3 DLC Detailed
Microsoft have announced the first DLC to be made available to Fable’s third instalment named the Understone Quest Pack. With this new DLC you’ll have the opportunity to buy new properties such as houses and new shops.
The main quest known as “The Voice”, will have you exploring an a new land found deep underground which was built by a Mr Montague Hummes in trying to hide from the “Spire” noted previously in Fable 2. [Read more…]
PlayBook vs iPad Browser Tests
RIM has created a side-by-side comparison of the BlackBerry PlayBook and Apple iPad. The comparison runs tests on browser speed to see which of the two tablets performs best on loading up particular websites.
To make sure the test was fair (other than RIM doing the test of course), they cleared the cache of the browser to make sure each device was pulling down fresh data from the webservers. [Read more…]
Samsung Galaxy Tab Price Dropped in UK
Samsung in the UK is dropping the price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Prices over here in the UK range from between £600 – £700. The new price drop will see the Android tablet priced at less than £500.

Evernote for iPhone and iPad Gets an Update for iOS 4.2 Support
Evernote for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch has been updated to include support in preparation for iOS 4.2 when it arrives sometime this month.

Nook Color Now Shipping
Barnes & Noble has announced it is now shipping the new Nook Color. The Nook Color was announced recently with pre-orders opening up on October 27. The original launch date was set at November 19 although it appears they are a little earlier than planned.
Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS), the world’s largest bookseller, began shipping its highly anticipated NOOKcolor by Barnes & Noble ahead of schedule to customers who pre-ordered devices. The first full-color touch Reader’s Tablet will begin arriving today and through the week to customers who pre-ordered the device online and reserved units in Barnes & Noble stores. Live demonstration units that will allow customers the opportunity to touch the future of reading, along with very limited quantities of devices available for purchase, will start arriving in Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Walmart and Books-A-Million stores beginning this week.
Samsung Google TV Could Land in 2011
We hear today that Samsung could be creating a Google TV and making it ready for launch sometime in 2011. No specifics have been given other than they should run Intel Atom processors and have Google TV embedded.

It appears that the “Exciting Announcement” made mention of yesterday by Apple [AAPL], is indeed the introduction to the Beatles landing in the iTunes music store.

LG Dual-Core Tegra 2 Android Spotted
Engadget managed to get hold of some pictures showing an upcoming LG smartphone. The new device has a dual-core Tegra 2 chip inside along with the ability to capture 1080p video thanks to its 8 megapixel camera.

One Million Microsoft Kintects Sold
Microsoft [MSFT] has announced that it has sold 1 million Kinects in the first 10 days of it going on sale.
Microsoft also suggests that they will shift 5 million units by the end of the year.
Microsoft Corp. today announced it has sold 1 million Kinect for Xbox 360 units worldwide in 10 days and is on pace to hit 5 million by the end of the year. The announcement comes a week before the biggest selling day of the year, Black Friday, and in the wake of increasing momentum for Xbox 360, which led U.S. video game console sales for the past four months.
LG Vortex Android Phone Announced
LG Has announced the LG Vortex. The Vortex is an Android 2.2 device that has a 3.2 inch screen along with 3G/Wi-Fi connectivity.
The device runs the latest version of Android and comes pre-loaded with Bing Search and Bing Maps. With it running Android 2.2, the phone can also work as a wireless 3G hotspot for several devices to connect up to and share an internet connection. [Read more…]
Galaxy Tab Official on AT&T – $50 More Than Others
AT&T has finally announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab on its network. AT&T has priced it higher than the rest of the competition at $649.99 although with that you do get $50 worth of Samsung Media Hub credit.
Contracts are priced at either $14.99/month or $25/month and each is a rolling 30 day contract offering either 250MB or 2GB of data respectively. [Read more…]
