The official webpage for the Samsung Galaxy Note in Canada is now hinting that the large smartphone will be launching in mid-February in Canada.

The image below is of a new device which is believed to be called the HTC Ville. The new device claims to be one of (or the) thinnest smartphone measuring just 8mm thin. That beats the iPhone 4S which is 9.3mm thick and the Galaxy S II which is 8.49mm at its thinnest point.
The device below is believed to be a mockup of what the next generation of BlackBerry smartphones will become. This particular model is believed to be the BlackBerry London and from what we understand, it will run the BBX OS when it launches next year.
As the day of launch moves on we are now finding out more of the details of the new Samsung Galaxy Nexus smartphone. Clove in the UK has just announced that it is selling the 16GB model for £514.80 inc VAT. This is of course the unlocked price. We have also been told that the 32GB model is not coming to the UK. We'll wait for a bit more clarification on that as it could mean Clove is not stocking the 32GB model or that the larger model will only be available locked and on contract.
The photo below is believed to give a brief glimpse at the Google Nexus Prime. As you can see from the side profile, it has a curved glass front and looks very slim.
A new smartphone has been announced by LG. The LG Optimus LTE has a few new features which includes LTE connectivity to speed up downloads of data. As well as getting a connectivity boost, LG has also included a 4.5 inch IPS display which they call IPS True HD. The resolution of the screen is 1280 x 720 pixels and is claimed to be the first of its kind that will launch in South Korea.
The HTC Explorer (Pico) is designed for the more casual user. The device will likely fall in to the budget range of phones when it launches.
Clove in the UK is the first online store to put the Samsung Galaxy Note up for pre-order. The price is currently set at £600 although this is just an estimate price as Samsung has yet to confirm what the official price will be.
More details about the HTC Ruby have been leaked. The details reveal that the device will have a qHD screen with a resolution of 960x540 pixels. The screen will measure 4.3 inches. We also learn that it will use a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and have an 8 megapixel camera.
This week has seen a few announcements about the new Nokia N9. First we heard that it wasn't going to be going to the US. We then heard the N9 wouldn't launch in the UK. We now hear that it isn't going to Germany.
The HTC Sensation is an Android smartphone that falls in to the top end of the range of devices they manufacturer. We've been testing the Sensation over the last few weeks to see what it's like and how it compares to other high end smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S2.
Nokia has announced that the Nokia N9 will launch in 49 days from now. A dedicated web site has been created which features a countdown timer showing how long is left till the official launch.
