The official webpage for the Samsung Galaxy Note in Canada is now hinting that the large smartphone will be launching in mid-February in Canada.
For those unaware of what the Galaxy Note is, it’s a large screened smartphone from Samsung that has a 5.3 inch HD display that can show 1280 x 800 pixels. The screen is Super AMOLED. It has a stylus that can be used to scribble notes on the screen. With it having a larger screen, some say it is more akin to a smaller tablet. It runs the Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system although an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is available. The processor inside is dual-core and is clocked at 1.5GHz. It has 1GB of RAM and a couple of cameras with the one on the back being 8 Megapixels and the one on the front 2 megapixels. The rear camera is capable of 1080p video.
