The HTC Mecha has again been captured on camera. This time around the image shows the Mecha powered up which also allows a few interesting details to be found out.
New information revealed from the picture reveals Android 2.2 as the operating system along with the new HTC Sense. Also a 4G signal can be found in the status bar which points to LTE data on Verizon [VZ].
The HTC Mecha (Incredible HD as it could be referred to as), is currently in testing. Download speeds are indicated to be around 9Mbps with upstream clocked at around 5Mbps.
The exact launch details of this smartphone are not known at the moment although its expected to not arrive before Christmas, so perhaps we’ll see it sometime in January. We’ll let you know if we find more leaked details and also confirm when the official details are out.
