MP3 YoYo

The REGEN is a battery less MP3 player. You are now asking… how does it get it’s power? Of course you use it as a yo-yo to give it the power you need to listen to MP3’s. It can store up to 200 songs on it’s harddrive and has a touch screen LCD which you can select your music to play.
Expect to have to yo-yo around 10 - 12 throws to get enough power to use the device. The headphones are bluetooth so there is no worries about your yo-yo pulling them out of your ears.
PSP Camera and GPS

We have finally spotted some pictures of the PSP with a GPS unit attached and also the camera. No details have been given, but it’s a step forwards to these becoming available on the Sony PSP.
Edit: The GPS is now available at Play-Asia and costs $59.90.
The Camera is also available at Play-Asia and costs $49.90. The camera is not region restricted.
As we all should realise, the GPS and camera attach to the USB connector at the top and provide extra functionality to the PSP. The GPS unit will have software available for navigation, and I am sure Sony will have a few other tricks up their sleeves like for tracking by transmitting signals via wi-fi or something. With the power and connectivity that the PSP has we can expect some good things.
The camera also will be used as an Eye Toy for the PSP. The Eye Toy is a weird kind of controller that some find annoying, and yet others like my self find incredibly entertaining. It ads a new element of fun although I am not sure how it will convert over to the PSP format and it’s small screen. Maybe it will literally track your eye and your blinking patterns or something

X-Twin Bi-Plane

Firebox has put on sale another cool rc flying thing. Similar to the Picoz Micro Helicopter we reviewed a few days ago, this one is now a small bi-plane which has 2 props to keep it flying in the air. Nice little living room present I think
The Plane
It’s light… at just 20 grammes and has a wingspan of a mere 9″ (3″ short of a foot for those who struggled at maths). It’s made out of some type of foam. With it being made of such a lite material then those who struggle to keep this in the air will be glad to know it generally wont break if you crash the thing.
Controls
The X-Twin plane is easy to control. It has a smart handheld transmitter which also is used to charge the plane. It flys for around 15 minutes which is plenty of fun to be had.
Over all I am impressed with the new range of indoor flying things that are coming out. A couple of years back it was the mini cars (Bit char-g) and now they have taken it the next step on and allowed us to fly around the house Ok, we could do that with the expensive toys but how quick would you break the toy and the living room if you tried that?
Go pick one up now from Firebox and have a laugh in your living room or in the office. To make it even cooler there are 2 frequencies available so 2 people can fly together. How cute!
ATI Radeon X1950 XTX

The latest and most powerful graphics card has been made by ATI. It’s the ATI Radeon X1950 XTX and it has a lot to be proud of. It boasts a 512Mb of 2Ghz GDDR4 memory, runs 48-pixel shaders and eight vertex shaders. What does all that mean? Well, it’s fast. Previous ATI high end cards suffered with a noisey fan but this has now been fixed. The price is a nice $449 which is not bad and very competitive with todays cards. The Epson EMP-6100 Projector is a new rugged type projector which main features include the ability to work in dusty and rough environments. It has a hardened case with a good filter to keep the nasty dust out. It will set you back around $5700.

Evel Knievel returns in the form of a toy! For those who do not remember who Evel Knievel is then where have you been? Evel Knievel was a stunt biker. He jumped London Buses, went down canyons at serious speed and jumped buildings. The toy from yesteryear was cool too! It sold like crazy!
The toy is back and now comes with a whole Stunt set known as the “Eval Knievel Stunt Set”.

Mini indoor Picoz RC Helicopter
The PicoZ Micro Helicopter is an RC Helicopter that is small. Ok, it’s not as small as the Pico Flyer which we wrote about, nor is it as small as the Solar Powered Helicopter we also wrote about. But the former of those is not available to buy and the latter is wood and does not fly anyway
Along comes the PicoZ Micro Helicopter. The helicopter is designed for indoor use, comes with an infrared remote control which also acts as the charger for the copter. The rc helicopter is 17cm long and weighs just 10 grams. The infra red remote control has a wide beam and can keep the helicopter under control for up to 30ft which is probably larger then your average living room anyway.
