In the past few days some details/rumours about AirPrint support in iOS 4.2 being partially pulled went around the Internet. The original rumours hinted at AirPrint not supporting printers shared on a Mac or Windows computer which left many reporting that only five current printers from HP would actually be compatible with the service. One upset user of MacRumors emailed Steve Jobs to see what was going on…
Q: As a release-day purchaser of an iPad, I was elated when you revealed iOS 4.2 would support AirPrint. Now comes reports AirPrint support has been pulled from 4.2. Between announcements/assurances of the white iPhone, and now the pulling of AirPrint, is Apple going to lose credibility and become known for announcing “vaporware”?
A: AirPrint has not been pulled. Don’t believe everything you read.
The Skyfire browser allows users to play flash content on iOS based devices. Skyfire is a proxy browser that uses backend servers to convert flash based video in to the HTML5 format on the fly and deliver it to the browser.
AppleInsider has reported that AirPrint in iOS 4.2 could be delayed indefinitely for those who would connect up to a printer on a Windows or Mac based device. Rather than being able to print to a shared printer as originally planned, it seems that this feature might be pulled out of iOS 4.2 and instead of using shared printers, the system might only work with wireless printers in the HP range.
Apple [AAPL] is believed to have created some iPad 2 adverts. The commercials were shot in New Yorks Pier 59 by a photographer called David Sims from Britain. The commercials were said to use the current iPad first gen model although it is believed these particular shots containing the iPad will be switched out with iPad 2s when launch time approaches.

Digitimes is reporting that Google [GOOG] could be launching a Google Chrome OS smartbook this month. The report indicates that Google will be using a similar strategy to how the Nexus One was created. Ie, another company created the Google branded hardware.
Apple [AAPL] has released the latest version of iOS 4.2 to developers. The latest version has received GM status and was made available to developers last night. What this means is that the final public release is just around the corner, perhaps this week when Apple holds its secret meeting with developers.
Although we are still several months away from Apple [AAPL] releasing the iPad 2, we continue to hear rumours about what will and will not be included. The latest rumour indicates that the second gen tablet will have a couple of cameras with one being 5 megapixels and the other being VGA, presumably for the front for FaceTime calls.
The new iOS 4.2 is still in beta (3rd beta to be exact) and it has already successfully been jailbroke. The iOS 4.2 jailbreak comes thanks to iH8sn0w who made the announcement on October 28 by showing the image above, also found
