After a bit of testing, it appears that the 3G enabled iPad 2 microphone might have a few issues.
In particular, the problem reveals that sound echos a bit as well as sounds a bit muffled when using the 3G model. The reason is believed to be because of the change in location of the microphone. On the original iPad, the microphone was on the top left of the device about 8 – 10mm from the 3.5mm headphone jack. We’ve known for a while that Amazon is launching its own App Store. The website for it actually was put online for a few hours it seems as users entering www.amazon.com/apps were taken to a web page showing 48 available apps, although each app redirected back to the homepage. Before you check it, we not note that /apps also redirects to the homepage now although there is a screen shot below.
Every couple of weeks, Android Developers releases details about the various versions of Android and which is the most popular. The reason for the release of this data is so that developers can see which version is most popular and then target either a specific OS, or perhaps decide it’s time to focus on the higher end of Android versions. The data was updated on March 15 and shows the percentage of Android versions with data gathered from devices that connect to the Android Market.
We had hopes that Nokia would release Windows Phone 7 devices sometime towards the end of 2011. We now hear that it could be 2012 before we see the first Nokia smartphone with WP7 installed.

Problems became apartment last month when Microsoft [MSFT] pushed out the first Windows Phone 7 update to all devices. Mostly, things went very smooth but for those with a Samsung Omnia 7, there was a different story. Reports soon came in that the upgrade process was breaking several steps in and when users saw crashes on a specific step, it actually bricked the device.
