As reported by Cnet, Sony has sent out an invitation for an NYC media event to introduce to the world, the first Internet Television on October 12th.
This new product will have in-built support by Google TV which is a new web-based service to bring users Google search and any web-based Flash video directly into the TV such as YouTube and BBC iPlayer for example.
Sony’s new Google TV will be in competition with Logitech’s Google TV box Revue which is set for a Fall release (which we have posted about here)
More details are still yet unavailable like pricing and availability but as soon as we find out, we’ll let you know.
