Lego Legend of Zelda: Iron Knuckle Encounter

Many of you will have grown up with Lego and will have built a number of your own creations. One site I’ve seen around recently is Lego Cuusoo which allows you to submit your own Lego creations and have them voted on to see if there’s a chance a set can be actually made.

One of the sets currently on show is a Legend of Zelda: Iron Knuckle Encounter.

Mycestro 3D Mouse

The Mycestro 3D Mouse aims to provide a new way of interacting with a computer. It has been designed to attach to your finger and allows you to work with a mouse pointer on screen without moving your hands away from the keyboard.

The idea came about when the designed was sat on a plane and noticed someone struggling with a laptop and mouse on one of the seat trays. At that point he decided it was time to incorporate the mouse in to a smaller device that attaches to your finger.

3Doodler 3D Printing Pen

Although I like many of the product ideas on Kickstarter, there are some that just grab my attention. This time around it’s the 3Doodler. The 3Doodler is a 3D printing pen that lets you scribble drawings in 3D… meaning you can take the pen off the paper and draw in thin air right in front of you.

The worlds smallest automatic umbrella is extremely compact in design when folded up and when needed, it opens up to a 40 inch diameter to protect you from the rain.

Opening it takes just the push of a button. Likewise, to collapse it down to its compact size (8 inches) for storing, it also takes just the push of a button.

If you are still using an older Amazon Kindle (the one without the front-lit screen), or just a regular book then perhaps you need to get some of these rechargeable LED reading glasses.

Luxi Incident Light Meter for iPhone is a Cheaper Alternative

Taking picture on a DSLR can be challenging to some as there are a number of settings that need to be taken in to account such as shutter speed, ISO and aperture all of which need to be balanced to get just the right amount of light to the sensor without making the shutter open so long that you get blurry images. Under or over exposed images are also too easy to create if settings are not correct for the environment around you.

A traditional way of working with this challenge is either by experience gained over a number of years, or by using an expensive light meter that can detect the light around you and provide the settings you need.

To lower the cost of light meters, one company is launching a device called Luxi that attaches to the front facing camera on your iPhone. It is compatible with the iPhone 4/4S and iPhone 5 and fits snugly over the camera. You then fire up an app and can find the best settings for the current lighting available.

The T-shirt appears to be coated with a material that glows when put under certain types of light such as a supplied keyring light or optional UV laser pointer. The effect lasts for about 1 – 2 minutes normally and slowly fades away with time ready for you to add another doodle on to the shirt.
