This Lego USB Flash Drive is a one of a kind 4GB flash drive that as the name suggests, is built of Lego. The Lego Flash Drive car measures 3.5″ x 1.5″ and can be taken apart if you want.
The Flash Drive uses a micro flash drive embedded in to the main body of the car with the top section and wheels attaching to the flash drive. As it uses what appears to be regular lego, there is also room to further customise the drive if needed. [click to continue…]

Neatorama have gathered some interesting facts about Google and put them all in a single blog post over on their site. The various facts include a lego storage case that held 10 x 4GB hard drives allowing enough storage capacity for their PageRank algo to be tested successfully. Another fact mentions that the I’m Feeling Lucky button costs Google around $110 Million a year in lost ad revenues and if you want to know how many servers Google has… you might find out in the blog post, or you might not.
For some interesting facts for a few minutes of your time check out the post.

R2-D2 is always one of the droids you think of when you see Star Wars. The R2-Q5 USB Hub was designed for those who want something different though.
R2-Q5 was a droid that only appears in Return of the Jedi along with a couple of Lego Star Wars games. The only real difference with this droid is that it’s painted black with red accents and simply just looks different to the usual R2 hub that you see occasionally on someone’s desk. This stop motion video was created by Michael Hickox and features 6 1980’s retro style arcade games. The results are quite cool and do bring back a bunch of memories.
Pacman for example has all the noises, ghosts, pac-dots and power pellets and when pacman eats one of the ghosts who turns blue and then you see the eyes make it back to it’s home in the middle of the screen. [click to continue…]

I’m not quite 100% convinced with this pair of sunglasses. They feature Lego arms which allow you to connect up Lego bricks of any variety to them. Weather it be blocks, Lego men, Lego Space, Lego whatever you can connect it up and for the seriously adverturous you could make a whole helmet to wrap around your head.
My thoughts are now that it falls in to the crazy category. The Lego sunglasses are designed and built by a French optical company named Lynx Optique.

This iPod or mobile phone charger is perhaps the most unique I have ever come across. Rather then using a traditional wall socket, or solar panels this one uses a small steam engine to create power to charge the device. [click to continue…]
