LG Optimus Pad to Launch at MWC 2011

LG has announced that the LG Optimus Pad. This particular model is a European 3G version of the G-Tablet.

It runs an NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip inside. It has an 8.9 inch screen that uses capacitive touch. The battery is 6,400 mAh. As for the operating system, it will run Android 3.0 Honeycomb when it launches.

Not much else is known about the tablet in terms of pricing and release dates, but with the official unveiling at MWC in a couple of weeks time, expect all those details to be announced perhaps for a March/April launch. In our opinion, the sooner the better as we have already waited about 8 months for it to launch already.

We’ll have all the details from MWC what it’s announced.
